TOPIC: Gloomy job outlook for graduates

--------------------

According to an education ministry survey, around 20% of newly graduatesnew graduates or newly graduated students from universities couldn't find stable jobs this year. The number means the situation for young people is still dire, which would weaken the fabric of Japan's society. To improve this, what can we do?

For a start, companies should quit hiring so many temporary employees. If they continue doing so, there would be some disadvantages, as in not handing down the accumulated skill and knowledge to the next generation.Which will eventually lead to weakening the companies themselves.

Secondly, the governments should encourage companies to hire people more as in giving subsidies to them when they hire a lot of people, as they have been doing about disabled people. Of course, in this case, the people should be hired as regular employees.

Finally, students shouldn't focus on only big companies. They should broaden their scope to include medium-size and smaller companies as well, because some of such these companies have strong points as large companies do.

Failing to find stable jobs means the people can’t get their spouses, which would spur the decreasing of population in Japan. Thus all of us should take this matter seriously.
