REPORT CARD
今日は待ちに待ったパートナーSによる成績表の日。
今年の6/16に、ただの1人のネィティブスピーカーとして、私の英語力を評価してもらっていたのです。
ちなみに1は初心者、10はネイティブレベル。
つまりalmost native となると評価は9以上になります。
そしてこれが6/16の成績表。

やっぱりspeechがううむ...です。思いっきり中級。
そして二か月後の今日、また成績表を頂きました！

とってもうれしかったのは”あきらかにこの二か月で成長している”と言われたことです。
点数云々じゃなく、とにかく成長し続けていることが私にとっては大事なのです。
...というと全然伸びてなかったTOEICの点は残念無念なんですが。
さて細かい点ですが。
speech(発音含む) についてはやっぱり、気を抜くとV,BやTHの発音が悪くなる。日本語アクセントがある。とのことでした。
comprehensionについては以前はよく”what does this mean?”と聞いていましたが、それがあきらかに減ったとのこと。comprehensionはlisteningとはちがって、聞き取れていても、よくわからないことがあるのです。
listening skillに関しては"slow down"とお願いすることが減ったこと。彼は早口ではないのですが、それでもリエゾンのせいか聞き取りにくい時があります。
一番低いスコアのspeech。これこそ私が一番磨きたい分野です。となるとやっぱりオンライン英会話は手放せませんね。。でもこれ以上増やせないしな。お財布がねぇ・・やっぱりSといっぱい話をしてもらおうと思います。
This afternoon, one of my friends came by my house. （1）It'd been raining since this morning, so I worried about whether I should suggest cancellation of this meeting or not. Fortunately, the rain stopped before the noon, so this meeting realized.
At my house, we caught up with each other because we hadn't met for 3 months due to my pregnancy. (2)Way back, we used to meet once a month.
She seemed busy with her work these days, but she looked the same as before, so I was relieved. ByIn contrast, she freaked out at my big belly. (3)She asked me a lot of things about my pregnancy(_G), and as usual, she was attentive to me.
